Christine Robb

I currently work full time in the art industry as part of the creative team in the Lava Glass studio, mostly developing new innovative designs with Lynden Over, for production in our art glassworks.

For personal creative enjoyment, I sometimes get to dabble in paint pots, and splash colour on a canvas, instead of splashing colour on a piece of molten glass.

My major in my Bachelor in Applied Arts was in ceramics and printing, and as an artist, it is rewarding to branch out and flirt with other mediums, across both 2D and 3D.

I have recently been seeing the landscapes which I have such a passion for, through the eyes of a painter and in my glass jewellery.  I want to represent the places I have been and love - rural and coastal New Zealand in all its glory.
