Christine Robb

I currently work full-time in the art industry as part of the creative team in the Lava Glass studio, developing new innovative designs with Lynden Over, for production in our art glassworks.

For personal creative enjoyment, I sometimes dabble in paint pots and splash colour on a canvas instead of splashing colour on a piece of molten glass.

In my Bachelor's in Applied Arts, I majored in ceramics and printmaking. As an artist, it is rewarding to branch out and flirt with other mediums, both 2D and 3D.

I have recently been seeing the landscapes that I have such a passion for through the eyes of a painter.  I love to represent places I have been with the full colour palette, taking fuartistic licence, showcasing rural and coastal New Zealand in all its glory.
